It was bufi -Fr Bwalya

The Patriotic Front (PF) will suffer the most humiliating defeat in the history of Zambian politics if they will survive up to 2016 because the people who voted for them in 2011 have realized that they were cheated, Alliance for a Better Zambia (ABZ) president Frank Bwalya has warned.

Father Bwalya said the people of Zambia have realized that the PF had no plan to develop the country and end endemic poverty.

He said the PF had duped Zambians by selling to the people sand that was covered with rice adding the population was annoyed that the government was feeding them with sand.

“The results of the by-elections held on Thursday last week were a tip of the iceberg in terms of the levels of dissatisfaction by those of us who campaigned and voted for PF. We are paying a lot of money for mealie meal, health care, education and cement. The cost of housing has also gone up not to mention the cost of transport. By the end of the year the cost of mealie meal and cement will reach an all-time high,” Fr Bwalya said.

He the PF lied to the many retirees that they would liquidate their outstanding benefits adding former Zamtel workers were told they were only on leave but that they had never been gicen back their jobs.

Fr Bwalya has warned politicians who have been defecting from the opposition to join the PF to watch out because the ruling party was on its way out of government.

He said it was unfortunately that even the Police Force had started lying like their political stating that they had blocking the launch of his party in Kitwe on a flimsy excuse that the police officers would be in Kafulafuta for the by-election.

He said he did not understand why the by-election that was held on Thursday last week could have affected the launch of his political party two days after the by-election.

“The by-election took place on 25th July 2013. Moreover, information has reached us that no single police officer from Riverside Police Station went to Kafulafuta to police the by-election. So it is clear that the police just lied,” Fr Bwalya said.

He charged that the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) had lied that they were looking for drugs when they went to search Clayson Hamasaka and Thomas Zgambo’s homes before they were abducted and detained.

Fr Bwalya said the arrest of Andrew Banda, the son of Mr Rupiah Banda was an evil scheme meant to victimize Mr Rupiah Banda in the futile hope of diminishing his political clout in Eastern province.

He stated that when clergymen and other innocent citizens were attacked at BIGOCA, PF lied that Mr Hakahinde Hichilema, the UPND leader and Fr Bwalya had organized the thugs to attack the congregants.

“All these lies have expired and no amount of chemical can do the job of embalming PF lies. Now that PF has realized that they have been exposed, Mr Sata has started diverting attention by talking about the parentage of citizens, threatening chiefs and intimidating public servants.
