Media houses must be
careful
Editor,
The Lungu-led regime must enact laws against abuse of media freedom. The Government must close down media houses that are endangering national defence and security. Such organizations can even leak State secrets to enemy nations.

UPND should control their cadres
Editor,
I remember when PF was in opposition they were victims of violence. UPND must not behave as if they are in power. They should not promote electoral violence. If you have sold your manifesto properly you cannot fail to win elections no matter what. The PF should also focus on solutions than violence; they should not retaliate when provoked.

God will make a way for
Zambia
Editor,
As the President declared 18th October as a day of prayer and fasting, this country needs God’s intervention, let us put God first in this country. God will always make a way as we pray and fast. It is only the presence of God that can change the situations we are faced with today. I would like to urge all Zambians to take this day seriously because our God will definitely find a way.

Zambians are ready for
change
Editor,
We hear reports that in some parts of the country, people are finding difficulties to obtain NRCs and voters cards. In some cases publicity is poorly done, this may be just a plan by those in power to hinder more people from voting especially from areas considered to be opposition strongholds. The message is clear; people want change and PF is aware of this fact. This is why they are frustrating potential voters. The opposition should mobilize people to get NRCs and register as voters. The political ground is ripe for change.

Kicks of a dying horse
Editor,
The kicks of a dying horse are now evident. M’membe has now brought his family into his dirty war of lies, deceit and insolence. The mother also is a kind who seems not to know her son very well. Because if she did, she would have brought him down to earth and counseled him on how to live with others. I have a word for M’membe: “ Bring them on, they will surely be bruised as you have done to those that had no chance to reply to your onslaught.’’

Opposition should offer
solutions
Editor,
The opposition political parties should start now telling us what they will do to the problems we are faced with as a country. They should not just criticize but offer solutions of what they intend to do when they form government. This habit of fighting during campaigns will not help mother Zambia in any way.

Fire corrupt councillors
Editor,
The Minister of Local Government must fire all those councillors at Lusaka City Council who are involved in illegal land sales. There is evidence that the sale of Libala land was marred with corruption. Get rid of the culprits before more damage is done.
Concerned
Some media houses up to no good
Editor,
It is a fact that some media bosses and some opposition leaders are sadists and economic saboteurs. The earlier our Government realizes the better for Zambia. These people cannot hold us hostage in our own country as if we don’t think to allow them to continue on the path of destroying our country with impunity in the name of freedom of speech.
