A TELEVISION magazine show, Bola Ya pa Zed has been launched on SuperSport to showcase Zambia’s football development.
Multichoice Zambia acting general manager Ngoza Matakala said the launch of the magazine show which will be beamed every Wednesday was testimony that her company was interested in empowering local production.
She said MultiChoice with its sister company SuperSport had engaged local producers and other partners to ensure that the production of Bola Ya Pa Zed has a distinct Zambian touch.
“This year alone, SuperSport has augmented its commitment in Zambia and launched a new trophy, through FAZ, for the Zambian Super League. We also renewed the FAZ rights deal and launched the Gaining Insight from Training programme for local producers, camera operators and presenters.
“” I am proud to mention that they are doing fine and well on course to finishing their programme. Today we are witnessing the start of a new magazine show. We are here for good,” Matakala said. She said the magazine show would offer subscribers direct access to top-class content, in high-tech digital quality through action live on SuperSport. “Fans will now have a home on this show where they will follow the live action and stay abreast with news and developments on Zambian football,” Matakala said.
She said Zambians should be excited that through SuperSport and magazine shows such as Bola Ya Pa Zed the country was able to show its talent and skills to the rest of the continent.
“Working with our sister company SuperSport, we have engaged in meaningful knowledge and skills transfer to local producers and other talent to ensure that the production of Bola Ya Pa Zed has a distinct Zambian touch. Zambia will be able to showcase its talent and skills to the rest of the continent,” she said.
