The good thing about multiparty politics is that they allow all of us including the likes of Mike Mulongoti and Wynter Kabimba to begin to dream of becoming president of the Republic of Zambia.
There is nothing wrong in all of us dreaming, but surely there is so much wrong when people like my brother Edward Mumbi become so over-ambitious that each night he dreams he is in 2016 and HH is giving him a ministerial job.
Mumbi does not live in the Copperbelt. So let him be told that unless he can make alternative plans, come this time in 2016, he will have no means of livelihood.
Politically speaking, his pay master will go into the archives of political history.
If Mumbi does not know miners very well, let him come and ask us who have lived all our lives as miners. Miners are very intelligent people. They don’t forget easily.
They know Mumbi from PF and they know HH from the time of the sale of mines. They also know that HH is the richest man in Zambia.
Mumbi can’t tell miners what happened when President Lungu toured the Copperbelt because the miners were there and they saw for themselves. So who is the PF political fugitive trying to dribble past? Miners? Ulelotafye boi.
What miners know without doubt and why they can’t vote for the UPND is that, the party is more for ethnicity than it is for unity and development of our nation.
In 2016, miners will vote to condemn in the strongest terms possible, the HH agenda to fragment Zambia into ten ethnic groupings in the name of regional autonomy.
