UPND panics over 2016 loss

Dear Editor,

WHEN former republican president Dr Kenneth Kaunda used to refer to some opposition political leaders as ‘frightened little men’, he exactly knew what he was saying.

I may not be a steadfast PF supporter but claims by UPND’s senior member Request Muntanga that the ruling party plans to rig elections next year is total bunkum.

Those claims, like Dr Kaunda would say, are definitely coming from frightened little men in UPND.

But of course UPND should indeed be frightened because it knows beyond any cloud of doubt that it is impossible for it to form government in 2016 because of peddling tribal agenda as exhibited recently by Mazabuka Central UPND Member of Parliament Garry Nkombo.

UPND may feel buoyant in Southern, Western and North-Western Provinces but then that is the end of the story.

I wish not to request Mr Muntanga to make it pure in his mind that no single region like Southern Province can change government in Zambia.

HH has to sway all Zambians and convince them that he is a better leader than President Lungu to make his way into State House which I think is almost a fantasy for the UPND leader.

Please UPND don’t panic, you will be free to lose the elections next year.

Mr MOONGA you are lost. voting in 2016 will not be based on tribe but on how much the ruling party has delivered on it’s promises.

Most importantly the economical direction were Zambia is heading under Lungu.
