Lungu did his best
Editor,
Hakainde Hichilema stop talking about Anglo American. President Lungu has done his best to safe guard jobs in the mines on Copperbelt but the owners Mopani are in financial crisis. Learn to appreciate efforts of others, ba HH.

Speaking for the voiceless
Editor,
Keep it up for speaking for the voiceless. It hurts me so much to see how LCC spent a lot of money to put pavers along Simon Mwelwa Lane between Somoson building and Chibolya Basic School along Lumumba road. LCC told the public that it’s where some street vendors will be relocated but to no avail. The PF cadres took over upon LLC’s completion of putting pavers. The cadres charge K5 per car’s parking slot. They harass, insult and charge you double K10 If you park for more than 30 minutes. They don’t even issue any receipt, they only write in a small exercise book. LCC are helpless.

Who elected coalition?
Editor,
I commend the National Assembly for supporting the two constitutional Bills. This has clearly shown that the alliance between UPND and Grand Coalition won’t succeed because the PF has formed a greater pact with the Zambian people. The question I have for them is who elected or appointed them as Grand Coalition? If the answer is ‘no’ then let them stop pretending that they are a coalition. A coalition for what?

Don’t provoke miners
Editor,
Copperbelt residents should not be provoked by the planned protests by Mr HH and Ms Nawakwi over hiked electricity tariffs. Copperbelt residents are what they are today because of what these two people did to the miners. Shame on them. In place of apologies to miners for what they (HH and Nawakwi) caused , they decide to go and fool them.

We need young MPs
Editor,
I want to appeal to my fellow youths to contest in next year’s general elections so that we let go of Kaunda-era MPs. We want them to rest. The reason is if we have youthful MPs, they can concentrate on the issues and problems affecting us youths during Parliament sessions and as a result we will benefit and have at least jobs. Please, youths, hear me.

UPND not panicking
Editor,
I don’t think the UPND is panicking over 2016. They just want to make sure that everything is in place and everyone should be satisfied with the results of next year’s elections without pointing fingers at each other like before. For those saying UPND is a regional party I think you are living in the past. UPND is a party for all Zambians and a party that is more than ready to change lives of all Zambians.

Libongani worst IG
Editor,
We hope the new Police IG will be professional in his duties. Ms Libongani was a letdown and worst IG Zambia has had so far. Surprisingly, the only public officers who worked professionally are those under the Mwanawasa era .e.g. BoZ Governor, Speaker, Finance minister, IG, Zesco MD etc. Libongani will be remembered for favouring PF.
