The 35th Bob Marley memorial concert in Zambia takes place on the 7th May at Bongwe in Lusaka’s Roma Township.
The highly followed event now called ‘The One Love’ concert is being organised by Shakarongo Music Promotions.
According to organisers, this year’s event is designed to make the religious followers and fans to the late lengendary and iconic singer interact under one roof. The fans will enjoy the rich culture and music legacy by Bob Marley.
Like any other year, the show is set to bring together top local reggae bands that will surely promote positive vibrations in a reggea style.
Bob Marley was born Robert Nesta Marley on 6th February 1945 and died on 11 May 1981.He was a Jamaican reggae singer, songwriter, musician, and guitarist who achieved international fame and acclaim.Starting out in 1963 with the group, ‘The Wailers,’ he forged a distinctive songwriting and vocal style that would later resonate with audiences worldwide.
