Patriotic Front (PF) Mandevu aspiring MP Jean Kapata has assured President Edgar Lungu a 100 percent vote in the August 11 general election.
Ms. Kapata said President Lungu will amass enough votes in Mandevu constituency.
She said the opposition was not a factor not only in Mandevu constituency but the country as a whole.
The Mandevu aspiring law maker was speaking yesterday at Mutambe Basic School grounds during the PF campaign launch.
Ms. Kapata, who is also Tourism and Arts Minister, said the infrastructure projects that the PF had initiated spoke volumes in the country.
She accused the opposition UPND of perpetrating violence in Zambia.
Ms Kapata cited the recent burning of private property at Lusaka’s Northmead area where suspected UPND cadres burnt two vehicles.
She urged ruling PF members against engaging in violence but remain disciplined prior, during and beyond the election.
Earlier, PF Mandevu Constituency chairman Joseph Tamba said President Lungu had already won going by the works he had continued doing.
Mr. Tamba urged the people who attended the rally to vote YES to the referendum question on the sidelines of voting on August 11,2016.
The official launch was attended by some senior PF Members of the Central Committee and Chairperson of the Labour and Social Security, Joyce Nonde Simukoko.
