Musician Quiville Chisanga aka CQ as well as local award-winning R&B artiste Robert Banda also known as Roberto are set to grace the SOS Children’s Villages annual international celebration called ‘SOS Day’ in Lusaka today.
This event which occurs in all SOS Villages across the world is meant to celebrate and commemorate the charitable works of the organization through its founding father Hermann Gmeiner.
In Lusaka, the event will take place at SOS Children’s Villages on Kabwe Road and will be marked by a number of activities including music performances and motivational talks centering on child care, support and protection.
Other activities will include a special Miss and Mr. SOS Modeling contest, performances from SOS children and staff as well as sports and games.
Musicians CQ and Roberto are both well-known for charity works and will take this opportunity to interact and share their time with the SOS family.
Also expected is a special appearance from other artistes especially those under the Triple V Campaign such as ambassador Kan2, D2, JC Starboy, DJ 800 and DJ QKingSuli including representatives from Young Women in Action.
Triple V ambassador B-Flow is also likely to be present at the event set for 10 hours to 14 hours.
