I will lead Kalulushi with humility, says PF aspirant
PATRIOTIC Front (PF) mayoral candidate for Kalulushi Rashida Mulenga says once elected mayor on August 11, she will lead the district with humility and team work to deal with various challenges facing the people in the area.
Ms Mulenga said she would lead Kalulushi with humility and embrace every one regardless of their political, tribal and religious affiliations just like President Edgar Lungu had been leading Zambia with humility and team work in addressing the challenges facing the country.
She said in an interview yesterday that she was humbly asking for the support and cooperation of the people of Kalulushi during her campaigns and after winning the elections so that together they could bring development to the area.
“I cannot bring development to Kalulushi on my own; hence I am asking for the support and cooperation of the people in the district during this time of campaign and after elections if they vote for me on August 11. After voting for me, I will lead Kalulushi with humility and team work.
“I am coming from PF, a party which is led by President Edgar Lungu who is humble and has respect for every individual and if the people of Kalulushi vote for me, they will see humility in me.
Not only humility, but sound economic policies of improving people’s lives,” Ms Mulenga said.
She said if elected mayor, she would strive to promote entrepreneurship among youths, and also bring investors that would add value to the district.
She said Kalulushi has fertile soils for agriculture and has minerals which were yet to be fully exploited to the benefit of the people in the area.
“All these are my plans. It is not rhetoric and if you want to prove it, try me on August 11, you will not regret; but if you choose to vote otherwise you will regret big time,” she said
