Classic talks ‘Robbery’

His name may not be familiar to you but his works date as far back as 2012 and his latest track, ‘Robbery’ is a confirmation of what is yet to achieve in the music industry.

Classic Greg born Masauso Gondwe is a vocalist and music producer whose yet-to-be released debut album ‘Fire Flames’ promises to bring a  new dimension to the sector.

Planning to release the album in September, Classic has already completed most of the work and the song ‘Robbery’ is a sure test of what he is made of.

The song which is fast becoming popular and dominating airplay features Ndola-based Rapper R.E.D (real name Steven Mwale) and was produced by Classic Greg himself off his Studio AR-Records.

Classic has worked with a number of renowned artists and producers such as Slapdee, T-Boy, T-sean, Shepstar, Gordon, Cashroll, Uniq-Skilz and other new artists on his forthcoming 18 track Album.

The artiste says he is inspired by the likes of Nigerian Afro pop singer, Asa, Congolese legend late Papa Wemba as well as legendary Zambian artiste Ballard Zulu.

Perhaps this explains the diversity approach in his style of music which borders across reggae, Pop, RnB and Afro-Dance music.

The single ‘Robbery’ is entirely meant to announce his comeback since his first-ever release, ‘Munyololo’ meaning queue as he took a break to concentrate on school.

With ‘Robbery’ blasting on most radio stations, Classic’s mission is to lay a firm foundation for the album ‘Fire Flames’.
