North West FDD smells victory

THE Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) in North Western province has predicted a resounding victory for its leader Edith Nawakwi in this year’s general elections.

FDD provincial chairperson Patrick Lufwabula told the Daily Nation that the party had sold itself well to the electorates in the province.

He said the electorates in the province were eager to vote for the FDD leader because of her zeal to develop the country.

He said people in the area especially women were ready to vote for Ms Nawakwi and all the FDD candidates at all levels.

“We very much confident and sure that the people of this province will give us a hundred percent vote,”said Mr Lufwabula  He said his party has made inroads in the province and that it was enjoying massive support from the electorates.

He said FDD was the only party which could deliver development in Zambia and improve the living standards of people.

“It is only the FDD manifesto that explains how it is going to develop this country,” he said.

He said the FDD campaign message has been well received by the people and who had now resolved to vote for FDD.

He advised the electorates not to vote for the candidates who had nothing to offer as the FDD was ready to address the challenges people were facing.

He also praised political parties in province for maintaining peace during campaigns ahead of the polls.
