PreCepts ready for ‘Therapy’

He may have spent most of his music moments as an underground artiste but now Martin Simutowe fondly called PreCepts is ready for his first ever album launch for the project called ‘The Therapy’.

Simutowe’s ‘Therapy’ launch is set for next Saturday at Unza Chapel in Lusaka with a collection of supporting acts lined up. These include his peers like Rizen Rizon, Damaskus, Lo Simz and K3N SILS.

The Therapy is suitably themed with a rich collection of 20 tracks blended in RnB, Reggae and that East coast feel laced with neo-soul.

This project is strongly inspired by his love for Christianity and the will to do God’s work. Like most people in gospel ministry, Simutowe was raised in a Christian family but his lifestyle dictated otherwise.

At home, he was known as a Christian but at school and around the neighborhood, he was the opposite. In his early teens, he started pursuing a life of women and money but every so often he felt they had to be more to life than what he was taught to believe. This notion haunted him for years until he finally decided to yield to the inner voice to pursue truth and the real meaning behind his existence. For sure, he knew he was not created to just accrue money, get an education, and have a family but there was more, hence he sought for this truth and discovered that true satisfaction and one’s reason for existence can only be found in Jesus Christ.

Since getting saved, he went on and founded Nazirite/OneightzerO Ministry, a group premised on illuminating the truth of real existence and the meaning of life to the youth in different neighborhoods, high schools, primary schools and universities.

He is a University of Zambia graduate with a degree in Library Studies and Public Administration.

The Therapy album launch will therefore unveil him to most of his fans and followers.
