Political wolves exposed

Dear Editor,

The recent 11th August, 2016 presidential election is some kind of a chemo-political titration that has yielded the precipitation of hard core anti-democratic politicians who are bent on the process of mortgaging the natural wealth of Zambia to some western economic mercenaries.

The cartel of men and women has formed the core of national plunderers that entrenched into politics to rip-off the national treasury for their personal advantage.

Students of Law, political science and social sciences in Zambia and the Southern Africa will discover the networking of these people very revealing as exposed in Chapter 2 of the book titled “A PRESIDENT BETRAYED”.

Taking into account how Mutembo Nchito and Fred M’Membe obtained money from various banks to service the defunct Zambian Airways, how could a UPND leader openly put up a defence of M’membe’s Post Newspaper that refused to pay Tax to ZRA? Members of the cartel have been unusually active at this juncture.

Worst still, what would have been the hidden motives by some Western diplomats who were engaged in clandestine meetings with UPND leaders before, during and after the elections?

As a student of international relations, I am inclined to believe that the British people had a depth of very good reasons why they opted to pull out of the European Union.

Strangely, the arrogance exhibited by HH, GBM and Nevers Mumba seems to have been fermented and boosted by the European Union (EU) Election Observer Officials.

If the EU Secretariat strives to unify European States into one strong economic bloc, why should its EU civil servants opt to apply retrogressive formulas that foster regionalism being exhibited by the Tonga under the Bantu-Botatwe, as executed by HH’s UPND in Zambia?

Whatever lean excuses the European Union (EU) Election Observer Officials propagate, I still strongly urge the PF government or PF executive that, after the election dust settles, they should create a well-informed “THINK TANK” that must:-

(a) Investigate and identify the true nationality of EU Election Observer Official who has been plotting against President Edgar Lungu, the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) and involved in the mutilation of the Judiciary in Zambia.

(b) The findings to be communicated to Security Systems of SADC, the African Union and European Union Commission Secretariat.

It is high time that some mercenary elements originating from some Western countries must come to accept that one day some African States that yearn for genuine development may very soon be associating themselves with the emerging financial giant called BRICS formed by developed States of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

The other alternative link for us is the USA whose leader in the name of President Obama has exhibited wisdom of improving relations with Cuba.

The process that the cartel had set on to rip-off the national treasury for their personal advantage must be curtailed as soon as the PF government settles down to develop this country. Mwansa Kabinga

Is a secondary teacher’s university degree a curse in Chongwe?

Dear Editor,

Kindly allow us space in your paper to express our utmost disgust in the manner in which our human resource personnel have been handling our case as affected teachers who upgraded from diploma to degree holders.

Efforts have been made to have us upgraded to our normal salary scales but to no avail.

Some have even acquired Masters Degrees but still getting salaries for diploma holders, a situation which is very demotivating.

“Overpayments and non-recovery of loans should be reported”. This is the last sentence on the pay slip of every civil servant, but sadly some teachers have decided to ignore this and continue to steal from the Government with impunity. There are teachers with diploma certificates but wrongly put in the degree salary scales.

We have overwhelming evidence that a named school has over 5 such cases and yet neither the teacher nor the Headteacher, let alone the human resource officer have acted on such an anomaly.

They are getting what belongs to us just as it was in the time of Noah during the floods when animals took the space of human begins in the Ark.

Just who is responsible for putting employees in correct scales?

We believe it is the end user, who is the human resource officer, but that person has failed lamentably.

Even a harmless dog that is pushed to the wall will turn around and bite.

This is what the Chongwe HR is doing to us. It is now time to turn around and hit back.

Don’t blame us for the action we shall take should this month come with wrong salary scales.

Perhaps the permanent secretary must give us someone to look into our problems because we are sick and tired of complaining over the same issue. Frustrated Bachelors

Likando Mufalali, disappointed loser

Dear Editor,

It is easy to appreciate the anger and frustration from UPND’s national youth chairman Likando Mufalali.

It is the disappointment of the loser which is expected to continue boiling in his mind for some time as his ire is still fresh.

That is exactly what life is all about. It sometimes creates the blatant falsehoods that can easily become acts of self-harm.

But there is no use in kicking and squawking over spilled milk. That UPND lost elections is beyond any doubt and I am mindful that healing the wounds will not be easy for some individuals like Mr Mufalali.

But surely why can’t PF, the conqueror not be excited? And five years is short, well and good when there is absolutely nothing for UPND.

The majority of Zambians from seven provinces who put President Lungu into State House are not political dimwits as Mr Mufalali appears to imply in the story which appeared in the Post.

He should not be the vessel carrying poison because it will end up eroding him all for nothing.

The hurtful truth maybe, is that PF carried the day and President Lungu whether Mr Mufalali likes it or not is firmly in State House for a good five years.

And of course, if UPND on the hand will continue to bask in its three strongholds, then I can affirmatively state that it will NEVER see the inside of State House.

UPND needs to undergo a serious process of political metamorphosis especially that has to do with change at the nation so that they party has national identify unlike now when it is purer regional.
